The Journey Returns
After a four year gap, we are excited to announce the return of The Journey at this year’s Harpenden Christmas Carnival.
The Journey started life as an alternative offering to the other activities taking place in the town centre at Harpenden’s increasingly busy Christmas Carnival.
The idea was to take guests on an immersive theatrical experience through the real story of Christmas - as played out in scenes around our church building.
It proved phenomenally popular from the first performance, and when it was last put on, had an audience of over 800 people in a 4 hour period.
Using actors, guides and real donkeys and sheep, we are looking forward to putting the event on again.
However, we need your help. Whether it be as a guide or an extra pair of hands to help set up and clear away, or getting involved with one of the many other actives the church puts on during the afternoon, please consider getting involved in the biggest outreach event of the year.
