Be Transformed this August

1984 was a pivotal year: the invention of the Transformers line of toys.

The franchise went on to inspire TV series and big-budget films, all rifting on the basic conceit: something that appeared, on first glance, to be a car or a truck or a motorbike, with just a few deft movements, could be transformed into a giant robot - ready to save the world from whatever threats a 6 year old mind could conjure up.

Whilst it may seem a world away from the times of Jesus, the idea of transformation is actually very Biblical. There are many, many accounts of ordinary people, ordinary lives being utterly transformed by an encounter with Jesus - planned or otherwise.

This August we are going to look at four people whose lives were transformed by Jesus: We will see how things changed for them, and ask whether we can experience the same transformation today.

Our August services are suitable for all ages, young to old - so we hope to see you this Summer, ready to be transformed!
